Mr. Slifer I wrote to you a few lines To let you know that we can rent the house that we are living in I will work for you the whole year round wet And dry for Twenty dollars per month I suppose you will give [?] farther when Ever you have work for him And I will begin to work for you now of you want me Write to me as soon as you get this letter to let me know wether I can let the man have the house or not.
