I write these few lines to let you know that My Husband is gone to fight the Battles of his Country and he left Me a house to support me while he was gone Myself and five children and it is up for Sheriff Sale now for $56 that he Contracted and my Husband wrote unto me to ask you Could you not put a stop to the Sale to Such times as he would be able to pay it My Husband is in Col Youngs[?] Kentucky Cavalry Company C.
