Dear Sir the executive committee of the union county Agricultural Society, met at my office on Saturday Evening last according to notice, and the committee then took in consideration weather it would be best to hold a fair or not and after due considerations adjourned to meet at my office on Saturday next at 6 _ oclock P.M. and Requested me to inform you of the fact: and Request you to be present at our next meeting if conv[en]ient and if not then to give your veiws weather you think best to hold a fair or not as we are devided on it. but we would be very much pleased to have you present
Some of us think it would not be prudent to hold a fair on account of the condition of our national affairs is in at present
