McKees _ Falls,

July 15th 1861,

Dear Father,

I received your letter on Saturday

evening, I will not be ready for some time yet. When you write to Mr Cameron[?] I would not say any thing about it, I am doing my best. I received a letter from Dr. Hollenbuch[?] on Saturday, he wrote that he expected to be up some time this week, when he could tell me all about it, I will however send you the letter, and you can Keep it until I come up. Mr P. Hillbish[?] asked me whether I intended going up during commencement, I told him I could not say for certain, he thought that he and his wife would go, and if they did, they would stop at Uncle Johnsons, as he had insisted them so often; so you had better tell Uncle Johnson: I think I will be up about the last of the week, I wrote to Maize last week, my love to all the family
