At a meeting of citizens of Union County opposed to the Election of James Buchanan to the Presidency, held Persuant[?] to adjournment at the County seat of said County, Lewisburg, on Wednesday the 15th of October, 1856[?], the following gentlemen are appointed Delegates to the State Convention to be held at Harrisburg on Friday the 21st October inst. for the purpose of nominating a Union Electoral Ticket [?]' -
